ABOUT ME

I am open minded and love it to try out new things. I am not very complicated and can get along with a lot of things.
The last years were really amazing years for me. I was the first time out of Europe during an exchange term in Edmonton (Canada). After finally getting a work permit I did an internship for 5 month in Montreal. It's such an amazing intercultural city with such a lot of cultural events. But it's not only to be in another country and travel around to see different places. It's also the recognition which thinks can be different in different cultures. But on the other as different people might be from their background, there are always so many things which bring them together. The most important thing is, that you don't believe, that everything must be like you know it.
When I lived in the International House I had such a lot of interesting conversation with people from all around the world and I just enjoyed it. I really hope that I will have contact for a long time with my friends there.

After graduation I backpacked for 2 months in Chile and Peru with a friend. Those countries haven't only a wonderful countryside but it is also interesting how different they have developed after the colonization and deal with their backgrounds.

PHILOSOPHY

Be open and don't have any prejudiced, than you will notice that they are often not true. They can't be generelly true because everybody is different.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to know more about a lot of different cultures and love it to get to know people from a around the world. That's way I really enjoy to not just visit different places in the world as a tourist, but also get to know people who live there. They see their town in a different way then tourist. Often their favourite places aren’t the most tourist ones and it is really nice to get to know an area from a different prospective.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

During the few weeks traveling around in Canada I had my first experiences with CS which were all wonderful. So I continued to surf in Europe and South America. I think that CS in general is a really good possibility to bring people together, I don't want to miss these experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like it to read fantasy books for example of Bernhard Hennen.
I listen to a lot of different types of musik but I not a big fan of techno or hiphop. Getting to know knew kinds of music can be such a nice experience. When I have been on an indian festivity I didn't know any of the songs which have been played but this didn't prevent me from dancing and having fun with the Indians.

I really like to lern from other people: this might be learn from there experiences, learn how they do things (cooking, dancing...) or would they believe in their culture, learn some words in their language or teach some
