ABOUT ME

I have spent the most recent, and most formative part of my life living in tropical rainforest. I spent a year and a half working roughly in conservation, first in the Amazon, and then Central America. And I have spent the last 6 months living in indigenous territory of the Ecuadorian Amazon, teaching english and learning from the Achuar tribe. I discovered a deep connection to nature through experiencing the forest, guided by native friends. I am most happy in wild Nature, and am interested in the knowledge and wisdom of indigenous peoples who remember how to live with Her.

I am interested i living in community, and healing those cultural wounds that might prevent us from doing so.

My other interests involve writing poetry, playing the guitar and singing, listening to all musics, dancing, meditation, travelling, bicycles, yoga.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed mainly in Peru, and hosted mainly in the UK. Always a different experience, but always with the same quality of the human openness, sharing, and mystery.
