About Me
Hi! I'm currently on an exchange program in Madrid working through my major in history, while learning the language. I absolutely love travelling and exploring new cultures. I went on a European backpacking trip three years ago on my gap year, where I got the chance to WWOOF in Belgium, Germany, and England. Looking forward to exploring Scandinavia and Iceland before I head back to farm life in Canada.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm hoping to meet some great new people, learn the culture through a local's eyes, and get the scope on the greatest places to see in Iceland.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love mainly the 90's grunge rock scene, although I've recently taken a liking to music from the 1950's and on! I love folk, alternative, and indie rock too. As for movies, 'It's a Wonderful Life' is my all-time favourite, and 'The Book Thief' is my favourite book.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think backpacking alone at 18 was a pretty great accomplishment for me, considering I have two older sisters who had previously overseen almost every aspect of my life. The independence and confidence I gained along the way has made travelling and meeting new people easier and more fun!
Teach, Learn, Share
I've lived and worked on an organic farm my entire life, and we always have interns over the summers. It always surprises me how much you can learn about a person in a brief amount of time, and how different everyone is. I love to listen to others, and share my own experiences as well.
