I am Keti :) I study work psychology and I am doing my exchange semester in Germany. I have been living abroad since 18 constantly traveling somewhere new, at least whenever my studies allowed me to anyway. The part that I love most about travelling is that I get to improve my foreign language skills and sometimes even learn a new one. So far the languages I speak are Albanian, English, Italian, Slovak and German. I would be doing cartwheels from happiness if in the future I got to learn Spanish and French as well. Oh well, you never know...

I am honestly addicted to books, good coffee, proper tea and chocolate. I love to discuss about pretty much anything under the sun and if some sarcasm and humor can be thrown in as well, ah then it is just perfection. As far as living preferences go, I do consider myself more of a cosmopolitan person. I can't live without the life, diversity and noise of the big cities. To many that might be too much, but to me cities are like mosaics and melodies. So complex and different. Each has their own rythm.

But there is a spot in nature though, that I could never give up even for the most exiting of the big cities, and that is the sea. Doesn't matter how far I go, how many amazing sights I see, I only feel completely myself if I am by the sea.

Oh and animals... They are so absolutely fantastic for me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am very new to this and I mainly joined because hearing the good experiences that my friends shared with me got me so incredibly curious that I wanted to try as well. I would love to host people too, but I can not as I live in a student residence. However, I would absolutely enjoy being there to guide people in the city I live in or visit natives in my future destinations. I think that would help me get the real feel of the place.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite Music: jazz (Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong), Panic at the Disco, Post Malone and also a lot of artists from Italy and Spain such as Ultimo, Lola Indigo, Georgia etc. I could talk about music all day haha

Favorite Movies: I am a huge fan of Harry Potter and Game of Thrones as well as of Classics like the Gladiator and The last Samurai

Favorite Books: As long as they are well written, I love them all.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would be willing to teach anyone how to dance, or how to speak any of the language I am fluent in.
At the same time I would appreciate help in learning the languages I am interested in.
