to travel to Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia in Nov

ABOUT ME

I have spent most of my adult life raising children, not an unrewarding experience but very limiting when it comes to traveling the world. The realization that my services were no longer required, (not quite 'get a life mum' but close) came as a shock, I got the empty nest syndrome badly, top that with a serious illness and the loss of my job, it could have all gone horribly wrong but I turned it around, moved to Turkey renovated two houses got my confidence back and now I am building myself up to start travelling. I was hoping to go to Thailand last year but lost my nerve, so I am working on this year now, I have done a Tefl course and ideally see myself teaching children somewhere in Asia. Oh and my kids are very proud of me!

As the mother of four grown children I got used to strange faces at the breakfast table, I miss that.

兴趣

I am interested in people, I love people watching,this fits in perfectly with my natural tendancy to laziness.I also love walking to conteract the effects of too much people watching then theres the usual, reading, music, cinema, etc. I love my small garden and am finding it a real challange in such a hot climate. The desire to travel is very strong but not strong enough to overcome the anxiety but I'm working on that.
