About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To meet new friends along my journey
ABOUT ME
I am a free spirit who loves to travel, sing, dance, cook, eat, and love. I am going to graduate school in the Fall of 2010 for Special Education. I love to teach and learn!
PHILOSOPHY
I am convinced that we get back what we put in. I live for the here and now! I am motivated to help others, because it feels good and I love doing it. I was raised to value peace, justice, and love. My philosophy is to stop and smell the flowers, and don't resist the raindrops.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have many friends who have told me how helpful and amazing couchsurfing.org is, and I am excited to become part of this project. A place where travelers unite is an exciting and wonderful project, indeed.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have not used couchsurfing yet, and am just getting started!
Interests
Education, conversation, organic agriculture, yoga, art, music, traveling, hiking, swimming, living in this moment!! Meeting new friends, seeing new perspectives, I like being active swimming, biking, hiking. I love to take photographs, draw, paint, spend time with my friends, party when there is time and money! But I am convinced that money is not the root of happiness. My friends, family, goals and adventures keep me happy and motivated!

Music, Movies, and Books
Punk, ska, indie, reggae, oldies, a little rap and hip hop, something with a good beat to shake your booty to.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
New Zealand! Mountain tops, skydiving, laid back people. Lived there for 5 monthes, got to visit Indonesia and see how a "3rd world" country looks and feels. Met the sweetest, most beautiful people there. Funny how the most generous people are the ones with the least material goods to give, yet seemed happier than many busy, wired, overworked, anxious American folks!
Teach, Learn, Share
The more places I see, the less I know, this world is full of untapped knowledge. Seeing the world helps you to realize what a tiny speck we are in this giant universe. I am so excited to learn from others and share knowledge, words, food, and laughter.
