Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have friends who have used the site for years and recommended it to me but also it seems better than just staying at the usual hostel or hotel in a strange city all the time. I've met some amazing people travelling and this can just add to the list

Travelling I guess would be an obvious choice here, meeting new people, new cultures, exploring, foreign beer...but as much as I like having a good time and all I'm not so much a party guy anymore, maybe getting more boring with age.
