Motorcycled from my home in New Jersey, to Ushuaia at the bottom of South America.

Previously taught English in Beijing, China, and did motorcycle trips throughout Asia whenever I had the chance. Had a tough time finding a motorcycle to ride in North Korea, however.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The better I can immerse myself in the local cultures of the places I am visiting, the more I can learn about the places I travel to. I'm looking for people who are somewhat familiar with the local cultures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Solo motorcycled the Karakoram Highway to the highest altitude border crossing in the world, Khunjerab Pass, at the China-Pakistan border.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you survival Mandarin. I've done quite a bit of traveling in China and can tell you what lexicon you'll need to use on a daily basis.

I really enjoy, and have experience with, planning motorcycle trips. Give me a map and time frame and we'll figure out an awesome trip.
