About Me
CURRENT MISSION
buy an RV and drive to/in/around Alaska!
ABOUT ME
I love the outdoors. I try to spend as much time as I can running, swimming, backpacking, canoeing, kayaking, skiing, and rock climbing. I also love music and have been playing drums/percussion since I was in elementary school. I love traveling, meeting new people, and having crazy new experiences. I feel like I get a lot of pleasure out of basic things in life especially food, nice weather, and nature. This description is pretty cliche....better to talk to me to get to know me
PHILOSOPHY
No regrets, learn from everything, have FUN, live for today, be a real person with a real heart. also, a little bit of sex, drugs and rock n' roll never huts. sometimes you just gotta do crazy shit!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have had some amazing experiences via CS first surfing with some wonderful hosts in Africa and Europe, then having the chance to pay it forward by hosting. Couch Surfing is such a cool way to meet interesting and funny people while still going with the flow of life and having a good time. I'm excited to continue to have more experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books
I really enjoy jazz and funk but also like rock. Music is one of the things that I feel the most in life. I like many different types of music, as long as the music is REAL* Try me out, lets talk about music (or better yet make it)!
I like movies but don't have a lot of time to watch them.
I also enjoy reading a variety of books. Two that have perhaps influenced me the most are "New Psycho-Cybernetics" by Maxwell Maltz and "Free Play-Improvisation in Life and Art" by Stephen Nachmanovitch
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
lived in Nigeria for 9 months, watched an epic sunset for 5 hrs in the Porcupine Mountains (Northern Michigan), hiked in Isle Royale National park, worked at a YMCA summer camp for kids for 2 years. I've done a lot of other things I think are amazing but probably wouldn't have any significance to anyone else.
Teach, Learn, Share
What do you want to know? I can probably bullshit an answer. For real, I can share any life experiences I have had, teach anything practical I already know.
One never stops learning in life; everyone can learn something from everyone else
