I am Kevin, but actually everyone calls me Kev. I was born in Germany and 22 years of age. Over the past 3 years I lived throughout New Zealand, Australia and Southeast Asia. It was a pleasant time with lots of lovely people and great experiences. Travelling has always been a big part of my life and so I still going on trips every now and then.
I love spending time outdoors especially hiking. There’s nothing more beautiful than immersing yourself into nature and feel the freedom.

Couchsurfing is really just a great way to visit a place and make new friends. No guide can give you information that the locals can give you. For me it’s as much as getting to know new people and living a travelling lifestyle thats base is a low budget.

There were lots of great things over the years but generally it was the great hospitality that I experienced. It didn’t matter were I was. I have always met someone who was willing to help me.

I cannot say that I am able to teach people something extraordinary. However I do think that you can always learn something for your life in every conversation you have. It just depends on your mindset towards this topic.

I am a very relaxed and simple person to get along with. So I try to be good company and make the stay worth it for someone. I have always had interest in other peoples life so I do like conversations. Additionally I have got some great stories to tell from my gap years abroad.
