CURRENT MISSION

Mission eh, well.. I was working full time in Toronto doing the same thing for the last 3 years, and I started to get antsy. It has always been my dream to travel the world, so here I am. I started in Paris and I'll take it as it comes.

ABOUT ME

I'm 21 years old and I just recetly quit my job in Canada and sold all of my stuff, bought a big packback with my earnings as well as a ticket to Paris. I have attained a working VISA to work in the UK for 2 years and it starts at the beginning of May. I was getting wayyy too excited in Toronto so I came early to snoop around the continent before landing in UK and working again. I'm extremely open-minded, very respectful of other and their belongings, feelings, etc etc. If your couch is available and you want peace and quiet, that's all I'll give you. I love to be surrounded by positive energy and I am always in a great mood and I love being surrounded by the same. Makes life a little more exciting when you;re surrounded by love, honesty, and positivity.

PHILOSOPHY

When I was younger I was always a little bit confused as all the other kids seemed to have a religion or some type of beleifs that they were always taught to follow. I asked my parents once I got old enough to really understand, and they told me "Kevin, you can beleive in whatever you like, as long as you beleive in yourself" and I've been living on that one phrase alone my whole life. I beleive if I want to be happy then I will. So far, so good. This is not to say I don't respect what others beleive in, that would be cruel. Like I've said in previous "text boxes" I have every respect for everyone as long as they as least respect themselves, and myself.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I had never heard of this website and I really wish that I had a couch that I could share with anyone. I would have anyone in my home in a minute and many people would vouch for me on that one. As forme sleeping on anothers couch, I wouldn't say I'm picky. Last 2 nights in Paris I locked myself out of my friends house and he's away on vacation so I found and old bookstore and they allowed me to sleep on their second floor where other travellers go. So I'm quite open minded. Ask me anything!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't necessary have "couch surfing" experience per say. I have done most of my travelling alone, whether it be inside Canada, USA, and now Paris. I have let people stay in my home before that had nowhere to go that night. It wasn't from this site, but it was someone not from Toronto that was in need.

Centres d'intérêt

I love me some electronic music when I'm walking around or when I go out at night. I love to listen to Jazz and easy music while I'm at home or somewhere calming. i LOOOVEEE to cook, if I can stay on your couch I can always make dinner. Making dinner for more than one is always nicer anyway. I like to play my trumpet, I like to be surrounded by people, I love to laugh. I don't remember the last time I didn't laugh in a day. Riding my bike is one of my favorite things to do as well, especially on a sunny day.

I don't watch many movies or television. I can't really be bothered with electronics. I haven't had a TV since I lived with my parents when I was 17. I do like the theatre though.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

ONE? damn.... I would say joining the military for a year and a half was the best thing I've ever done. I have never been so disciplined or pushed myself harder, and it was for noone else but me and I've never been prouder of myself. (maybe I have but since I can only choose one LOL)
