I work as a Web developer at a local tech firm startup, located ~10 mins away in SE.

==Weekdays==
My schedule away from the home M-F is usually 8-3 or 4pm, followed by a trip to the gym and returning for the evening around 6.

==Weekends==
I'm usually grabbing drinks with friends at bars in the neighborhood, out on my boat with friends (if its above 85F and its Friday-Sunday i am on the water and you are welcome to join), hiking/backpacking somewhere in the NW, or attending some festival or event. You are almost always welcome to join me and my friends (as well as yours) on any of the above activities :)

I sometimes work from home once a week, but most likely won't if i have a guest sleeping :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After travelling outside the country for the first time, ive been bitten by the travel bug and experienced so many wonderful people, places and hosts along the way.

Now that I am in an awesome location in an a destination city not only in the US, but Worldwide, I look forward to paying deeds forward and helping foreigners out in an awesome place :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I live an awesome location within a half-block from popular bars, shops, and public transit in one of the "trendy" but still hip locations, in the NE Portland Alberta Arts District.

I also have a sporting boat with wakeboard, inner tubes, etc. and access to the best beaches and water in the PNW area. I'd be glad to take any of my guests out on it.

Also within 45 minutes of The Gorge which has an immense amount of breahtaking hikes with waterfalls, hot springs, lava tubes, and more.

On the weekends, feel free to join me on either of the above activities as well as frequenting the bars all over East Portland.
