Music, Movies, and Books

Music has been my life for the past 24 years, so just about everything I can sink my teeth into. Some of my favorites are Nick Drake, Paul Simon, Cannonball Adderley, Debussy, Beethoven, Pink Floyd, Derek Trucks...I can go on and on.

Favorite movie is a tie between Almost Famous and Cinema Paradiso. I've been a lover of film my entire life as well.

Favorite book(s) is the Dark Tower series by Stephen King. Don't waste your time on the film. Also love On the Road, Lord of the Rings, and Rothfuss to name a few. Plenty of non-fiction; theory texts, music history, music bios, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first composition for orchestra was premiered by the Charleston Symphony Orchestra in a gorgeous $200+ million auditorium.

I can teach some music stuff.

I love to learn. Really about anything that piques my curiosity. You should be learning something constantly. I like to learn about other cultures/points of view, and the life experiences of others.
