Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to learn how to love the city you're in from a local's perspective, as I'm looking to find the right place to live.

Interests

Traveling and getting a feel for local life. Beaches, mountains, and night life are all positives. I paint, but probably won't be bringing materials because there's a lot involved.

Music, Movies, and Books

I can listen to almost anything music wise, 90's grunge to bluegrass to classical to metal to EDM. Action/thriller or comedies are my favorite movies. I'm a fantasy fiction reader, though I've fallen off reading lately.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Quit my jobs and packed up a car without a destination 70's road trip style to find a new home sounds good to me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a generic white guy who's only discernible skills include holding conversations while slinging drinks, so I'm not sure how much teaching ability I have. I do paint with acrylics, but I don't know if I can teach what I do. I'd be interested in learning about all the different cultures of you, your heritage, and your city.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Hopefully a pleasant and fun companion, as well as an array of alcohol that I will be toting around in my trunk. Also willing to cook/clean and will definitely clean up after myself. Not looking to be a freeloading bum.
