I'm a 20 year old student right now at the University of Waterloo. As part of my cooperative education program I get to study for 4 months then work somewhere for 4 months which provides me lots of opportunities to move around and experience new places and companies.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I plan to travel a lot in the future and it seems like the Couchsurfing community is perfect for that. It strikes me as just an awesome experience being able to be hosted by some locals who can show you around.

I wouldn't want to just mooch so I'm also offering to host people as well.

Interests

Video games, cooking, science fiction, outdoors and fitness. I have a really strong passion for trying out new things, so I'd be always up for an adventure.

I'm particularly interested in AI, alongside some philosophical topics like free will and what not.

Music, Movies, and Books

The Foundation series by Isaac Asimov is one of my favorite books. The Dark Tower and most (all!) of Stephen King's novels are great. I'm trying to get through Meditations by Marceus Aurelius right now, it's interesting but really dry at times haha.

For music I seem to be fixated on Lana Del Rey but am expanding my library slowly.

Movies are too countless to name because I'm an avid movie goer. Forrest Gump, The Intouchables, Gran Torino and 12 Angry Men really rank up there though.
