I have lived in Indonesia since 1990 and love it. I managed a multi-media project for many years and taught English prior to retirement in 2016. I love to travel and meet people, pet sit (dogs and cats only) and generally check places out. It's always good to get together with people who have stories to tell esp. regarding travel and of course people who like to listen and interact. I love cruising the oceans!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

From the aspect of meeting people and living in the more local areas of a city/country, even though for short periods - that's what I like the idea of. If people visit me in Indonesia they will experience a more local way of life away from the tourist areas which arent all that far away actually. I am well situated but in a quiet village area.
