ABOUT ME

I was just in the Peace Corps serving in Mongolia as a Community and Youth Development worker. I am now working for Kellogg's as a sales support contractor. Currently applying to graduate programs for my masters in social work.

Prior to the Peace Corps, I worked as a counselor at a youth rehab center in Illinois for 2 years. I have my Bachelors in Social Work.

Bicycles. Music. Beer. Food. I enjoy the small things in life. The bicycle is my passion and life. I ride it everyday. A fine tasty beer is what I enjoy, along with some yummy food and funky jams (music I mean). I'm pretty easy going and truly enjoy the outdoors. I enjoy meeting new people from all over the world, unfortunately I haven't had the opportunity to travel outside the United States. I surround myself with music, although I can't play an instrument. I have great ears to listen and enjoy talking to people. I try to spend my time volunteering with local organizations as much as possible...as service and helping others feeds my soul.

I have had the great opportunity to work with adolescents for 2 years as a drug counselor, and have learned so much. For those interested in learning the complexity of teens, I can teach.
