About Me
**Please read my full profile before requesting your stay**
Hey! I’m Kevin, a traveller based in Toronto who’s been to 50+ countries around the world. Travelling has taught me how amazing life is, so I live my best life everyday.
I work in IT consulting in the financial district (10 minute walk away). I’m very social so when I meet friends I love to go out for drinks, concerts, raves, or music festivals. Some of my other hobbies are watching sports (basketball and hockey), training in Brazilian jiujitsu (previously did Muay Thai as well), and music production which I’ve started most recently. Sometimes I DJ too.
I would love to meet adventurous travellers and show them the best of Toronto. I live in the City Center of Toronto so everything is a short walk away.
I used to host guests in my guestroom, but I have since turned the guestroom into a music studio. For any future guests I’ll be putting up an air mattress in the living room with sheets, a pillow and duvet cover.
I usually work from home and because I’ll be hosting you in my living room, we’ll probably see a lot of each other. Therefore, I’m keen on hosting people who are a good fit. Similar interests, mindset, and lifestyle are a good start.
Please note some of my rules:
1. Length of stay - Please request no more than 3/4 nights. Not interested in a roommate.
2. Dates of stay - Please know/request the exact dates you wish to stay with me. I don’t appreciate requests with a long range that ask me to pick the days.
3 Cooking - I have a strong preference for guests who don’t cook. Unfortunately I’ve had some guests who tend to leave a mess and/or spend a long time cooking, which affects my ability to cook myself. Storing things in the fridge, using utensils and things like that are fine!
It would also help me to know what brings you to Toronto and what you plan on doing here to see if we’re a good fit.
Any questions feel free to shoot me a message.
Looking forward to meeting you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I was in Fiji in 2023, I met a German man at a bar who after just two beers offered to host me in the Black Forest in Germany. Later that year I went to visit him and had the time of my life. He not only hosted me, but also took me out every day to explore the area. While in Europe I also met other friends who I had previously met abroad and they graciously hosted me or showed me around. Loved it.
I just recently learned about couchsurfing which is based on the same principle and would love to give back to the community.
