About Me

Hey :)
Tall. Contractor in construction. Trophy collector for driving race cars.
Travelled extensively throughout Aus and now venturing beyond it's coast.
2015 saw me in Europe and the Meditteranean.
2016 i was in the US.
I don't snore.
I like pets. Pets like me. :)
I once was a goof ball. Society has trimmed me a little. Seeking to release that old goof.
Now that I've used my time to see some of the world, I've settled in Brisbane and would like to give that opportunity to those who would appreciate it.

I have a simple philosophy of not judging.
I admire those who give personally and socially. I aim to give more in than I have in the past. That includes hosting.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet the locals and get the inside word ie places to eat, things to see, where the live musics are.
I've got friends to stay with in places but will look to fill the gaps and make more friends.
I'm philosophising to the point where it's no longer possesions that interest me, so spending money on rooms to not see anybody kinda links in.
I'm now in a position to host as all my housemates were instantly down with the coolness.

Interests

Being a cheap crappy photographer.
Sucker for a nice landscape and sunset.
Wasting time by going to unimportant places.
Enjoying musics.
Sports.
People watching.
Eating less meat.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have the reading interests of a 17yo school girl. :p
John Green fiction- Looking for Alaska, An Abundance of Katherines, Paper Towns, The Fault in Our Stars...
You'll be glad to know I've moved on from the above and was introduced to Asimov and Clarke who are apparently classic sci-fi writers and there are blowing my mind.

I only recently watched Fight Club. It was incredible.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Survived a pretty big crash where my race car ran out of brakes at 240km/h... Not a scratch on me. The car however...
That, just the day after I almost won a pretty big race in a car that wasn't meant to. I came second by a bees dick.

Teach, Learn, Share

There is always so much going on. My eyes and ears are open and I tend not to judge.
Normally a fair bit goes over my head but with reminiscing comes understanding.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Australian culture and maybe foods.
I don't eat vegemite but I can bring some :)
Phrases like- 'busier than a one legged frog in a snake pit', 'fair dinkum' and 'I'm not here to fuck spiders'...

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Italy, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Poland, Singapore, Slovakia, United States
