Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to many bands and singers, but I am a fan of The Killers and Jason Mraz.
I read Noam Chomsky's books and Paulo Coelho's novels, and some IR books.
Whereas, I love watching cartoons and animations, actions, horrors, comedy, thriller, and....(not really a fan of) romance and drama.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seeing Mr. Obama delivering a speech at the 4th Congress of INDONESIAN DIASPORA 2017.
Teach, Learn, Share
My personal experiences becoming a Liaison Officer at some international competitions such as 2015 International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics, Indonesia and 2017 World Schools Debating Championship, Bali, Indonesia.
I did Model United Nations three times *so far*: IndonesiaMUN 2016, Jogja International MUN, and EosMUN Kuala Lumpur 2016. I am eager to participate in many MUNs to come.
I used to be a debater when I was in the secondary education, I was the quarterfinalist of 2014 National Schools Debating Championship in Aceh, Indonesia.
For these two semesters, I have been involved in UGM Buddy Club, currently serving as the President of the club. We assist our international friends who are studying in our university, organize events such as cultural exposure, city tour, and farewell party! My experiences with my international friends teach me to be who I am right now, equipped with more lenses to see the world. During the recent summer break, I helped my university to organize a summer school with the Erasmus+ programme and several other institutions, which focused on Food Security and Climate Change. From that event, I broaden my international connections and also learned much knowledge from cross-disciplines.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can probably share the story how I grew up in a small town called Magelang and how I ended to be an International Relations student exposed to the diverse cultures in the world. And perhaps to share why I am very eager to learn more from new friends.
I can sing Indonesian songs, introduce Indonesia's culture, perhaps a bit of its history *because I am not really good at it but we can figure it out together! *don't worry!*.
