Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people around me and in my travels. Always looking to meet new people anywhere and everywhere I go. I find the best way to immerse yourself in unfamiliar surroundings is to reach out to those around you.

Interests

Continuously exploring the world around me to try and learn as much as I can in my daily life and expand my understanding of my environment. Really into plants and gardening, live and work on several farms and community gardens in the area. Raise livestock (chickens, pigs, goats), maintain large seasonal vegetable beds, a small home orchard, and bee hives.

Food and cooking are a big part of my life, and ties back into growing plants and raising animals. I enjoy working with my hands and do a lot of carpentry/wood working, painting, and landscaping.

I love being outside and camping and hiking are always high on my priority list. Social dancing is also a big part of my life. I go out square dancing, line dancing, contra, and Cajun two step to name my favorites.
