Hi, I’m Kevin and I’m 20! Basic information done, let’s dive in deeper: I’m from Germany, to be more exact, I call a small village in Bavaria home. I finished high school there in 2022. After that, I moved to Frankfurt where I worked as a flight attendant for about two years before I came to Iloilo, Philippines in September this year (2024), where I’ll be staying until October 2025. Here, I’m a volunteer in an NGO organisation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

At the moment, I’m spending a year abroad in the Philippines, where I live in a host family. During my time here, I’ve already noticed how cool it is to stay with locals. That’s why I decided to join couchsurfing, so I can continue spending time with locals when travelling ✈️

The best movies are definitely Top Gun (Maverick), Mamma Mia and Adam Sandler Movies!!
Books.. I like books that teach me something compactly in form of stories

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After thinking about it for ages, I finally gathered the courage to quit my stable job, where I could have worked until retirement, this year. Why? I wanted to get out of Germany, to a whole new country that I wanted to get to know in depth. Food, people, landscapes, just the culture in every possible way.
I realized, that my old self would be disappointed if I didn’t do something like that in my 20’s, so yeah.. I would say that was a pretty amazing thing for myself.
