Hello all, I was born in the San Francisco Bay Area, but grew up in Modesto, CA a town in California's Central Valley. I lived in Portland, Oregon for seven years and now back in the SF Bay Area for several years now.

I've worked in a variety of different jobs for varying lengths of time, from real estate, banking, trucking. I'm currently working in a hardware store. I've enjoyed all of the variety of experiences in life and am always seeking to learn more, once I've digested previous experiences.

I have an adult daughter and always love to learn how her journey through life is going.

I enjoy spending time out in nature to unwind and ground myself, I've also been perpetually learning Spanish for the last 20 years, but am currently on a faster learning track, thanks to a newer friend from Costa Rica.

I love to cook a few of my favs Brie cheese loaf, french toast, homemade refried beans. I love our Mother Earth and feel most grounded when spending time with her out in nature, along hikes and beach going. .

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really want to change my personal psychology and want to reduce the limiting thinking patterns that are looped in my brain, and I figure traveling and exploring the world with new people may just be the secret to open those blocked pathways. And in time I would also like to be able to return the favor to new explorers and show them around the towns and areas I've been accustomed to.
