Between jobs, literally! I have a seasonal position as a tour guide in Glacier National Park in Montana and I'll be staying in a few cities and National Parks between here and there. I've been a tour guide in a world-class public garden for a few years and have plenty of fun travel stories. Ask me about anything from late-Republic Rome to set theory!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I haven't used Couchsurfing for more than a year now, I've been busy with work unfortunately! I am excited to see another part of the country and I relied on this site in the past for so much I had to come back! I went on a month long road trip through the South and South West, and surfed in many a home and didn't have a single bad experience, except that time when a bird flew in the host's house the exact same time I walked in. That was an interesting hour or two. I'll just leave my answer to the question from last year up, it's nice to see that I actually lived out that dream and didn't die!

"I usually don't travel, but I managed to get a whole month off work so I'm living out a dream of mine and driving out to California and back! Once I get a decent place I'll be a willing and able host too. I'm cutting just about as many corners as I can so it's either camping, walmart parking lots, or your couch if you'd have me!"
