Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm all about the community. It's good to know there are so many people just like me. I hate staying in one place too long. My couch is open if yours is.

Interests

Aside from traveling and writing, my interests are

Sports- I enjoy playing, watching, and reading everything I can about basketball. Especially the New York Knicks(for better or worse :/)

Music- I've been playing the guitar for most of my life, and used to be in a heavy metal band. Though I've tamed myself quite a bit and even cut my hair short, I still enjoy rocking out from time to time. I love playing the blues, listening to new music, and jamming with other people. If you're a musician then we will get along great.

Dogs- I love em'. If you have one then I'd be happy to walk them for you!

History and language- I love learning about the history of new places, and learning about the local language. I am currently studying Italian on and off right now, and would love to practice. I studied history in school for a good while, and love exploring the ruins of the ancient cultures of Europe. If you could show me them, I'd be grateful.

I like pretty much everything, though. So I'm sure we will get along.

I've seen 45 out of 50 US states and once drove from New York to Seattle, then down to Texas and back.
