One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once survived a harrowing 30-mile backpacking hike in Great Smoky Mountain National Park that started off with a peaceful night by a lake. By the end, I had encountered the threat of aggressive bears, an abundance of thorny vegetation, and several miles of being lost. It was an amazing trip though and I would do it all over again.

Teach, Learn, Share

Everyone has something they can teach. When I travel I try to connect with people about these things. This is one of my favorite parts of traveling.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good conversation and any nice gift I may have picked up along my travels. But if time and resources allow, I always enjoy cooking and sharing meals with people. I cook some mean rice and beans that are getting close to my Abuela's.
