I feel like in some ways, my life is just beginning. Depression and anxiety kicked my butt for many years but recent changes have helped me see a potential for me to have a great life. I am happier than I have been in a long time. I feel good about myself, like I have something to offer others and l believe I can help make the world a better place. Kinda cheesy, but its true.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have avoided meeting new people and been isolated for a lot of my life. I want to change that and I would love to see more of this country (and the world!). I have a friend who's been couchsurfing for years and he is passionate about it.

Interests

I love psychology and learning how the brain works. I am trying to find a career where I can use my love and knowledge of psychology to help people.

I love movies and watch a wide range of genres and topics. From low brow to high brow, I like a lot of variety. I love movie trivia (and trivia in general) and enjoy learning about how movies are made. I hope to be an extra in a film someday!

I love how often movies and psychology intersect; the best movies are the ones where the filmmakers are savvy in terms of the workings of the soul.

Other interests include woodworking and other creative/artsy hands-on work. I want to learn to do so many things like paint, sculpt, draw, dance, weld, and more!

I love science and learning new things. I like to read and in the past, always read fiction. These days 95% of what I read is non-fiction and usually science related.

I love computers and technology. If I was rich I'd always have the latest and greatest new gadget. I don't know a ton about these things but maybe more than the average guy. Still, I love what technology can do for us these days.
