I am kind friendly and always welcoming.I am in easy travelling distance of Nottingham and not to far away from Derby or Sheffield areas.Transport links are regular to Nottingham and ok to other cities and i can offer accommodation to anyone visiting my area whether on business or pleasure .I can offer a couch or single bed or a double bed if required . I am very open minded so if you want anything or have a particular need dont be afraid to ask.I can also usually offer accommodation at very short notice even as late as the same day.I dont really have many house rules apart from no smoking in the house and no taking of drugs.If you have any questions or are unsure or want to know either about my house or area please ask and i will answer any questions you may have and put your mind at ease.I am a member of Wildlife charities RSPB,NWT AND THE BTO and also i am the local neighborhood watch co ordinator.I dont have a car but do drive so can hire one if you want to get about round the area or further afield into the peak district or Derbyshire dales.All facilities are available to be used by the visitor including kitchen,Bathroom/shower/toilet and living room.Unfortunately due to a fire at my property i can not take lodgers at present but will be back available very soon hopefully after repairs.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am looking to meet and make new friends and learn about new cultures and styles of cooking and foods. Or just meet fun loving people and have a laugh and a nice time while they are here as well as telling them about my areas history and local legends and showing them the local amenities and nightlife like bars and restaurants.My area has a wide and varied choice of things to see and do from the legend of Robin Hood to lace making and authors.
