Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm headed for (or already am on, if I forget to update this) the Appalachian Trail, starting in Conway and hitchhiking my way up to Gorham where the trailhead is. I figured, why not cast a line out on Couchsurfing.com? I'd be more than happy to rough it, but I love cooking for and meeting new people. Plus, a warm place to sleep doesn't sound all that bad 😛

Interests

I love playing Chess (as well as card games), it's very fun to play with other people I know, because in my opinion it gives me an insight into how they are as a person.
I also like anime and manga, and I try to keep up with whatever in the current season looks decent.
Socializing with friends -- and maybe once a month, getting buzzed -- is one of my favorite things to do.
I've also personally studied Pharmacology for some time now, and intend on getting a degree on it come a years time.
I enjoy roughing it, stealth camping where I'm not supposed to, but having somewhere to sleep and someone to talk to and cook for is a really nice change of pace.
Back home, I brew my own "beer" (it's ~20% ABV since I use Turbo Yeast hehe) and then I'll distill it into my own Moonshine. I then use it to make my own E85 gas for my shitbox hippy van lol
I like all types of music, but lately I've been listening to a lot of Ween and Elton John. I blame a close friend of mine for the recent addiction but I've always liked both.
And Urbex is super cool. I've always loved adventuring to decaying buildings, I'm not sure why.
