ABOUT ME

I moved back to my favorite place in the world a couple years ago. I work at the local university, just enough to support my travel habit and not a minute more. Met my wife through Couchsurfing, which I used to think was weird but now I think is wonderful. Like most, I think my life is very inconsistent. I love being outdoors on a hike or at the beach, but am very happy on the couch with a movie. Most of the time I love meeting new people, but occasionally a book and a beer sounds much much better. Still not sure if I'm an uncommitted extrovert or a reluctant introvert. Either way, Couchsurfing has been good to me and I intend to do everything I can to be good to Couchsurfing.

PHILOSOPHY

I always like to meet new people and share stories about the different ways we live our lives. The world would be a very boring place if we all had the same experiences and opinions!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen some amazing things in my travels, but some of my favorite places are right here in California - San Francisco on a cold fall day, Yosemite after a fresh snowfall, cycling Highway 1, Lake Tahoe in the summer and pretty much every day on the Central Coast
