About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Lust for life.

ABOUT ME

I do not like to write about myself in a narcissistic , shiny happy or esoteric way. I don't consider this a social network site, I just want a place to sleep on my crazy trips, and will offer one in return. I might if necessary try to entertain you, even if you're a dreadlocked pot smoking treehugger or a dike. I like my humour bone dry, black, vulgar and meta. I studied philosophy and history and teach literature and history, but I also like boobs, football, booze, conversations about feelings and heartbreak, vegan food and punk attitude.
My taste in practically everything is better than practically anyone's, except in gastronomy (I like hamburgers). I am gentle and caring and not into random sex. But I will not go and tell the police about your illegal animal porn collection, I'm openminded. If you serve me a nice breakfast, I'll tell you the meaning of life, or something cool (about midgets!) that'll do as a substitute.

PHILOSOPHY

Throw Nietzsche, Hume, Houellebecq, Marx, Boeddha and Bukowski in one big bowl, mix 'em and puke it out. That's some tasty lookin' philosophy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A fascinating largely improvised 24 day hitchhiking trip from Belgium to Istanbul in the summer of 2012, to pick up some atmosphere and scenery for a novel-to-come. Both the hitchhiking and the couchsurfing beg for a sequel (to Saint Petersburg possibly).

Interests

I like to walk through abandoned streets late at night-I like to eat the skin off apples-sometimes I doubt-I like being keen-my weather predictions are rarely correct-I like to see the sun go down fast, but am also a little sad then-I often gaze amazed at the skies-I see a depth in the work of Van Gogh-I like sleeping with my head on pillows-I don't have a favorite day of the week-sometimes I can live with death-I kinda often hate Japan-the world is a concentration camp, I was born in the wrong century-I find New York rather fascinating and boring-I like hot water-piss sometimes smells good-scratching away little crusts is nice-I'm afraid to go blind-I don't like ladders-I do want a beard some day but I hate itches-I sometimes jump around wildly on wild music, furthermore I don't have much bodily exercise-peanuts!!!-I think sad girls are pretty-'I feel the pain of everyone, then I feel nothing' is a brilliant sentence-the suicide in Caché is gruesome-I like wild hair, they disappear through the years-I like rest and revolutions-few scents fascinate me-I want to hike through India-I want to do something-I don't know what to do-I like lists-Middle-Earth is cool, right-most of the days I'm pro peace-I am cynical sometimes-Hans Teeuwen is God-hasta la victoria siempre!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have never in my life experienced anything overwhelming, that sounds totally gay. Except maybe love, but let’s not discuss the L-word here. No, let’s not.
