To grow every day and travel as much as possible. Try my best to live a life of adventure and meet like-minded people from around the world. My next adventure will be Eastern Europe and the Balkans.

ABOUT ME

I've been born and raised in London, but am of Indian ethnicity. I feel this puts me in an interesting position in being able to relate to both Eastern and Western values. I consider myself a very relaxed, friendly and curious individual. I'm not what you would describe as a party animal, but I love to meet people and get to know them properly rather than meet lots of people superficially. In 2013 I decided to put every day life on hold for 10 months while I traveled the world to see what else is going on outside of the little bubble of London. I had the best year of my life and travelled South America, New Zealand, Fiji, Australia and Sub-Saharan Africa. I'm a vegetarian and quite oddly for someone my age, do not drink or smoke :) At the time of writing, I'm a week away from a 3.5 week trip starting in Budapest.

PHILOSOPHY

I think many of us live our lives in a dream-state. We wake up, go to work, come home, eat and sleep. Then we repeat the same thing again the next day. In the past few years, this pattern has made less and less sense to me. What are we doing this for? What is the end result? I feel its time to make a change and see what else is out there. I want to see how other people around the world make use of their 24 hours. I believe that everybody has something to contribute and something interesting to say if they could just free their mind and allow it to do what it was made to do. I don't what I'll find by the end of my travels, but the journey is far more important than the destination.

I've met a number of people through Couchsurfing and it's been a great experience on every occasion. I like to meet like-minded and interesting people.

I enjoy reading, deep and interesting conversation, Philosophy, Movies, Many different types of music, Cricket, Nature, Science. In the past few years, I've discovered a passion for photography, and I look forward to getting some awesome images on my travels.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favourite movies - Too many to list but Shawshank Redemption, Goodfellas, The Prestige, A Beautiful Mind and Into The Wild. There are also many TV shows around which are as good as movies in my opinion including Boardwalk Empire, The Wire and Game of Thrones.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have dived with many different species of Shark including Hammerhead sharks in the Galapagos, Bull Sharks and Tiger Sharks in Fiji, Whale Sharks in Australia and Great Whites in South Africa
