Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am new to couch surfing, but I'm eager to give it a try. I had numerous friends recommend it while living in NY, and every couch surfer I've met has seemed to have great experiences and met great people! Bring it on CS.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveling to the Philippines to meet my mom's side of the family for the first time, at the age of 19 was a life-changing cultural adventure. Meeting my cousins showed me how different yet strikingly similar a young person's life on the other side of the world can be. Eating balut (fertilized duck eggs) and drinking Red Horse (beer and gin mixed) with my cousins is among my favorite memories. One of the most vivid travel experiences I've had came from snorkeling in underwater caves (cenotes) in Mexico. Swimming through crystal blue water and exploring the little-traveled "rooms" underwater was a complete sensory experience Ill never forget.
