ABOUT ME

I was born in China and moved to Canada five years ago for studying. Currently I am in my 2nd year studying and majored in Biology in a university in the prairie in Canada. I had my first university study done in China and majored in English. I worked for a few years in China after graduation and realized I wanted to explore the world. I always dreamed of coming to a foreign country to experience different culture and people. Finally I decided to come to Canada and after months of hard work for preparing the lengthy, complicated paper work, I made it possible. Besides studying, I like travelling a lot. Everywhere I go, I try to stay in a hotel where is a great place to meet people from all around the world and listen to their stories. I look forward to share my stories and listen to yours.

Helping others is helping yourself!
Giving, giving and giving.
These cannot be more true. I had many difficulties through my life and I coped with them all smoothly eventually. Gradually I learned I should help other people cause without their help, I wounld't have made it so far.

I'll try to host and show travellers about the town where I live in right now. I'll also pass on this website to my friends who like travelling and meeting new people.

Travelling, of course.
Meeting new people. Playing volleyball (just a beginner due to lack of time/partners practicing).
I have a heavy courseload which doesn't permit me to have too many interests. ;-)So above should be more than enough.

I like old/clasic music. eg. American country music.
Don't watch a lot of movies especially full of violence. I like movies that are meaningful, not just for fun.

I made my dream (moving to Canada) come true without my parent's economic contributions.

Teach, Learn, Share

Once valuable experience I have after so many times solo travelling is: do reserach before you go. I always study the places where I'm going before I leave. So right after I arrive, I feel like a local already. Don't panic when you are lost. Bring a map with you and ask for directions.
