About Me

ABOUT ME

My background is in fine arts. Painting, sculpture, writing, or prints, I love any tangible art. I like to get out and meet others that feel motivated to create and build things.
I'm pretty easy to get along with; my friends are all in different trades and social circles.
In July 2018 I began working on farms through WWOOFUSA and biking between engagements. I am currently living in Seattle, and focusing on art making.
Fully vaccinated!

If you host me, I only need floor space. I adjusted to a yoga mat and blanket for a bed some time ago.

PHILOSOPHY

Appreciate kindness. In everything as far as possible, leave it better than you found it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I learned a lot couchsurfing while backpacking down the west coast in 2013 and it was amazing. Have hosted a few folks since then.
Using couchsurfing more now as I make my way around the country and continue to appreciate the awesome experiences!

Interests

I'm really into bookbinding and have practiced printmaking as well as painting in recent months. I'm excited to begin farming and traveling in the year to come while maintaining my creative projects!

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy many kinds of music, but lately I just try and find new kinds of folk music from around the world.
I read when I can--novels, short stories, nonfiction--and would sooner pick up a book than stare at a screen.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I biked up to Santa Cruz from Los Angeles the first two weeks of December 2018. Biking alone, everything I needed in panniers and a backpack--it was quite an experience!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach basic bookbinding and origami, a handful of culinary dishes, as well as random arts ranging from how to split wood and how to knit...

What I Can Share with Hosts

Jokes, trivia, recipes, fun rounds of "exquisite corpses," help with gardens and stories of course
