About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoying Copenhagen

ABOUT ME

I organize art, culture and entertainment events in New York City, and sometimes beyond. I work in a community of artists, performers, designers and musicians every day.

You can learn all about them at balktick.org and wandbevents.com. These projects are what I spend my life working on.

I disappear periodically to travel. I normally spend quite a bit of time in Northern California, and also get outside the US for at least a solid month each year.

I go out frequently, to everything from loft parties and DIY art happenings to the opera and Carnegie Hall. I meet new friends every week, and love showing people New York City.

Bicycling is very important to me, and I very rarely take the subway anywhere, even in winter. I also read all of the time, most non-fiction.

I love my life.

PHILOSOPHY

Find something to be passionate about and fully dedicate yourself to it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Let me know if you are visting New York City and are looking for interesting things to do. I love showing peopel around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm friends with NYC ambassador Joe Che, who twisted my arm to get into this in the first place.

I starting using CouchSurfing in Argentina a couple of years ago and met lots of wonderful people and was invited to far more things than I could possibly attend. Since then, I've used Couchsurfing for lodging or just meeting people wherever I go.

Interests

Meeting people face to face, creativity, culture and community are the most important things.

Beyond... Art, music, dancing, parties, books, bikes, spicy foods, camping, healthy living and eating, cities, the opera.

Also, I can talk shop about event design and production for hours and hours on end if you're into that kind of thing.
