Hello Global Friends !! My name is Kevin Choi. This is not my real name but I prefer this name for everyone in the world to be friends more easily. I present three key words as I show myself. Freedom is my first keyword. Since I was elementary student, my parents and I used to go camping and short trip almost every weekends. We travelled most of tourist attractions in South Korea. My parents brought me many places because they want me to see many different kind of things outside of classroom. Also, I have some experience in abroad. I studied one year in U.S.A when I was in high school. That experience made me wings to fly everywhere. Second key word is Activity. I love moving my body. I don't like sitting in front of the computer or staying long time in one position. I am active person. I love sports and trying something new. I used to play soccer in my hometown team for a long time. Except soccer, I am eager to learn all different kind of sports if I have chance. Plus, I will do many different activities in the world for example sky diving, bungee jumping etc. And I prefer doing activity as a team. That makes me more pleasure. Friends is my last key word. I cannot live without friends. Since I was young, friends are the most important part for me. Some friends made me happy and some friends made me sad. But I can learn many things from them and I feel I improve myself because of my precious friends. I love sharing with people and having new friends all over the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After I decide to travel all over the world, Couchsurfing is one of the most excited thing I really want to do. I've never imagined Couchsurfing in my life. However, after I found out Couchsurfing, I feel this is real traveling and great opportunity to meet local people in their countries. One person's life experience is the most valuable and has massive effect to other people. If I want to buy this kind of experience inside my house, probably it costs over million dollars. However, if I meet different kind of people in their house, we will talk our experience for all night and share everything we love. For me, that is real and wise lesson for life. That's why I want to keep Couchsurfing in the world.

Interests

As I wrote before, I love traveling, new activity, meeting new people. I know most people in the world like traveling. But many people are just dreaming about it and disappoint about present. I was one of those people but now I try to be special one. Already I travelled a little bit abroad but It's not enough for me. I want to see wide and various world through my eyes. Especially, I want to meet awesome people all over the world. I am ready to share all the experience with them. Second my interest is New Activity. I like doing something with my own body. For example, I love playing sports. During my traveling, I will try to do all the activities I face. If I see the videos or pictures of extreme activities in the internet, I cannot wait to do those activities. I search for where I can do that and I write it down my list. Also, I am interested in new friends. I love talking with new people. When I meet new people as a stranger and start to talk with them, I feel I am alive in Earth. Many times I realized I am not dead yet because of new friends. I can be more active and change myself. I am looking forward to seeing great people in the world, so I can share and learn many thing from them.

Music, Movies, and Books

Actually, I listen most kinds of music. Even I don't like very much, I try to listen and find out why this music is popular to lots of people. These days I listen trance music which is not very popular to many people. But recently, I went to the festival of trance music and I really enjoyed the festival. After that, I started to love this music. My favorite trance music DJ is Captain hook. I want many friends to try this kind of music and dance together.
I like realistic movie. When I was young, I used to watch robot or scientific movies but after I grown up, I don't usually watch these kind of movies. I like watching comedy or romantic movies. So, I can imagine this story could happen in other side of planet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Since I was a kid, one of my dream is living in another country by myself. Finally, this dream came true when I came Australia as working holiday visa. The choice to visit Australia is the amazing decision I've made. After I arrived in Australia, I thought someone helps me from the sky. Everything was perfect and I met great people as well. I found out another world not only one, but also two or three different worlds compare to my Korea life. It's amazing experience and I love multi racial Australia. I could meet various people and share all the good memories each other even though we are not using same language.
