I grew up in Washington state in the US and I spend most of my free time reading, bouncing between new hobbies, and trying to cook. Currently living and teaching English in Elche, Spain and trying to carve out a little life for myself here. I'm an inquisitive and attentive person, and perhaps more optimistic than I have a right to be. I'm always up for sharing a bottle of wine and a bite to eat.

I wrote a blog that my mom reads!! But also I backpacked* for five days in Patagonia, didn't get a single blister, and even hiked up the mountain at 5am to see the sunrise.

*Two of those five nights were spent in refugios, little hostels along the trail. They were amazing and I don't regret missing out on two extra nights in a tent.
