CURRENT MISSION

Cycling from the UK through France, Spain and Portugal. Started on 10th July 2020 so if you’re reading this me and my bike are in your area :)

ABOUT ME

I'm an easy going guy who loves to travel, meet new people and discover new cultures. I think the best way to do this is to try and meet local people so you can truly experience of the country you are a guest in.

I’ve been thinking about doing a long cycle trip for a couple of years and so I set off a few weeks ago! I am self sustained with tent, cooking equipment etc all on the bike and am finding peddle pace is the perfect way to soak up a place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to the couch surfing but see it as a perfect way to achieve my current mission.

When settled I would love to host people and show them around my town.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books - The Illustrated Man, The Autobiography of a Supertramp, Stephen Kings' "Dark Tower" series, most books by Terry Pratchett and other epic fantasy novels.

Films - LOTR, Silence of the Lambs, The Shining, Spirited Away.

Music - I like most music genres but mosty listen to 60's and 70's rock (Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, The Who, Fleetwood Mac etc) and I really enjoy folk music (Nick Drake, Incredible String Band, Fairport Convention)

I can teach you some basic card tricks that will entertain your friends and even get you a free drink or two!
