ABOUT ME

I love all types of music and especially love live shows. My out of the way city doesn't have too many concerts so I go up to Austin a bunch and check out some of the tours coming through there. I tunes is almost always on. I have been interested in helping others for a long time and got involved with Civil Air Patrol when I was young. The most interesting thing about the organization are the search and rescue missions for missing airplanes or people. I've been involved with searching for space shuttle Columbia parts in Dallas when I was 16. Before even finishing high school I got my EMT certification because I always thought I could help more people (and see what others don't see). Over time, while at Texas A&M university I worked on Health science degree, and took school for paramedic certification as interest grew in the emergency field. Since I was young I have always had an interest in flying and crossed Private Pilot off the bucket list about 4 years ago. Not to much flying after moving back to Galveston a year ago because Hurricane Ike reduced a lot of opportunities to rent. I guess that's a pretty brief all about me description. I can't tell you everything !

PHILOSOPHY

I'm pretty conservative. Mostly laid back, and observant. I like to live within my means and focus on understanding of others beliefs.

I guess I can update this now from the initial. I've been vouched just recently, but I'm about to move. I want to meet people and find connections for trade labor until winter hits

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had some people come over on work trade programs from Columbia, and Turkey. Always have been cool people and I'm amazed how quick they pick up the language. I've also had some local travelers just coming through for the night.

I think everybody should learn CPR, and you don't have to be certified to perform it as many people think.
I also think everybody should have some form of basic survival in the woods and not to be afraid of the animals. Other than hungry bears....
