About Me

I'm a 22 year old Irishman with an authentic Irish accent and a love for Guinness. I'm in the middle of studying a civil engineering degree in Dublin. At the moment I'm working in offshore engineering in the Netherlands and aim to see and meet as many people and things as possible!
It's hard not being clichéd when describing my personality but I guess I'm rather friendly and sociable with a passion for sports and travel!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

So I can socialise with people from all around the world, and learn about languages and cultures. I also want to share my own culture and welcome people to Ireland!

Interests

I love sports and at the moment, I'm actively playing American football, basketball, and Gaelic Football, with a bit of football and Ultimate frisbee on the side. I also enjoy trying local beers, cooking (although I can't promise I'm any good!), learning languages and appreciating architecture an engineering marvels.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Hip-hop/rap would most definitely be my favourite genre, with favourite artists being Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, or Chance the Rapper. Aside from that, I'd enjoy rock music or traditional music, but I'd be pretty open to anything.

Movies: My favourite movies would probably be The Shawshank Redemption, Lord of the Rings or Inception, to name but a few.

Books: Unfortunately, I rarely set aside time to read, but at the moment I'm trying to read a few books in French in order to improve my level.
