ABOUT ME

I believe curiosity gave the cat at least 7 of its lives, and so I remain curious. I seek answers to the unknown and then ask more questions. In elementary school every time I asked my mom, "What does this word mean?" she would hand me the big dictionary we had in our house, and say, “Look it up.” And I would, every time until it became habit. Then in high school, a teacher of mine once said in order to expand oneself, you must leave your comfort zone. Since then, I have leaped from my comfort zone and continue to do so.

Graduated with a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island. Have been working in product development of medical devices. I also have a passion for reading, writing, performing, and listening to poetry (and starting to dabble more in music). I let my left and right brain fight it out a lot, but it's usually a win-win.

PHILOSOPHY

To paraphrase the Japanese poet Matsuo Bashō – Do not seek to follow in the footsteps of the wise; seek what they sought.
