I'm back from a one year world trip. Now... well I stay a bit in Paris, as I have a fun job, but I can't stop thinking about future travel plans ! Next destination : Poland, Ukraine, Belarus !

ABOUT ME

Hi !
After my studies in engineering, I decided with a friend to make a one year round the world trip (https://trailsoflifeproject.wordpress.com/).
Now, I'm back, but a part of me is still on the road. I continue to like improvisation and exploration.

I am 29 years old. This world trip, and now all my new travels, are a way for me to meet people and to discover what happens in the world. I try to stay as much as possible with local people, so I can learn the cultures.

During the trip, we had the aim to see traditions and how it evolves facing development. I continue to explore this subject nowadays.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I use Couchsurfing for trips. It is an extraordinary tool to meet people from other horizons that like to share their culture !
Now that I have recently my own flat, I am able to give back the hospitality !
In France, I go on the CS events to meet new people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first eCSperience was in Japan. I joined one of Mochan's Wish Club trip through all the country. It was an amazing way to discover another culture ! After that trip, I now use CS everytime when I can !
During the world trip, I used CS to find local peoples who wanted to show us their culture. I'm glad to say that it works in every country I tried !

Interests

I practice aikido and paragliding.
I am interested in outdoors activities.
What I prefer is to explore and discover new places !

In this one year trip, our aim is to live other ways than in occident. We are interested in traditional life styles that are evolving now due to modern influences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Share a thermal wind with a vulture in paragliding.
Board a three-masted boat with a canoe.

... And recently, during the world trip :
Living among Maasaï people and being invited in a traditional wedding ceremony.
Met an african spirit medium in the middle of the mountains who told me my totem and my future.
Getting robbed by 4 guys with knives in the middle of a rubbish dump in Zimbabwe.
Getting lost in the Himmalayas.
Getting lost in the Mongolian steps.
Hitchhiking threw 3 000 km of Siberia and through Tanzania...

I hope to continue this list !

I try to learn music and tin whistle. I'm still just a beginner !
I want to learn as much as possible about other cultures and ways of living.

In exchange, I can teach about what I have seen in all the countries I've visited.
