About Me
Hi Surfers, My name is Kevin and I am currently a student from Singapore, ethnically Indian. I'm typically quite chill and a homely dude. I would be more than happy to pick up a conversation with you. Would love to hear about your life and your culture and hopefully find a few similarities between us. In my free time I do like to explore and discover less traveled areas in my country (even though it's very small). I really love trying new food and my long time hobby is cooking and baking especially.
Singapore is quite a dense and urbanized area and usually during the holidays my family would go to Malaysia, to our relative hometown for the quieter, kampong (village) life.
Though I don't have much travel experience, the top 3 things I love about it is seeing the historical architectural buildings and museums, food and meeting friendly local people.
Still living with my parents (because housing here is expensive) but do hope to open to other surfers when I get a place of my own.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would be travel around europe and I will be traveling solo. Not sure if I will ever get another chance to do such a trip so I hope to make the most out of this and visit and learn about your culture.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love classical music a lot, used to play the clarinet. I'm quite open to listening to most genre; from rock to R&B to pop and rap.
Star Wars Fan. Love the superhero movies that are coming out these few years. Enjoy classic animated movies and also watch a bit of romcom and coming of age movies here and there. Don't watch horror because I'm scared, haha.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There isn't particularly much or special to do in my country but for me, being in the band during my secondary school days were really amazing and we got to go on 2 trips to Australia and even performed at the Sydney opera house for a band competition, which was pretty cool.
Also went to a grad trip with my friends to Thailand, phuket. That was really special for me. It was super chill and got to bond more with my pals.
Teach, Learn, Share
Can share recipes and cooking tips I've learnt; used to bing watch lots of cooking shows on youtube. Or there's any other requests you could ask me. More than willing to help
What I Can Share with Hosts
If you do get to pick me, I would hope to bring you something interesting from my country or even help you out in your daily chores. I would be more than happy to follow you for grocery shopping at your local market. you love to see the type of produce you have in your city.
Be assured that if you do come to Singapore, I would share all the in and out of this country and bring you to some great places.
Most of all, I'm open to suggestions to let me know your request and I will see what I can do.
