ABOUT ME

I love being active and always try to keep a smile on my face; why waste time being angry or upset? I believe every day is meant to be enjoyed and that the best way to accomplish this is by constantly exposing yourself to new people and fresh adventures.

I certainly enjoy walking off of the beaten path and try to get involved with activities such as volunteer work, the outdoors, traveling, and things that challenge my mind.

Meeting new people and experiencing different places is a definite interest of mine. I think CouchSurfing is a great way to to accomplish this as it allows you to get a true feel for an area.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started Couchsurfing as part of a cross country road trip a few summers ago and loved it. It was a great way to break up the trip and get to know people from different backgrounds...I try to "surf" and host people whenever I have the chance.

Intereses

Anything that involves being active or helping other people: development work, surfing, frisbee, running, horseback riding, biking, hiking, backpacking, ...you get the idea.

Música, películas y libros

I don't own a TV, but certainly enjoy some good tunes. I love any music that has a good beat to it and like listening to country, classic rock, reggae/island, alternative, etc. I can't remember the last time I read a fiction book, but love pushing my mind to new limits with audiobooks and print forms of non-fiction literature.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I did a 6 week road trip across the country with a friend and had the experience of a lifetime. We went to a ton of amazing National Parks: Yosemite, Grand Canyon; and some really awesome cities: San Fran, New Orleans.

I also have been living in Haiti since 2014. My experiences in Haiti have truly been life-changing and have helped shaped me into the person I am today.
