To cultivate my personal potential by aggregating as many unique, challenging, memorable experiences as possible.
ABOUT ME
I'm a lifelong runner and biker - which heavily influences the energy and modalities by which I travel. I also love hiking/nature, cooking and eating, languages, learning from new people, history and art, and trying EVERYTHING... at least once.
I'm a Christian - what that means to me is...
-I live with a spiritual conviction for "loving my neighbor as myself" - I try to show love and respect everyone I meet unconditionally.
-I'm humbled by both my existence and the universe's existence. I'm optimistic that there is meaning to my life and that I'm here for a reason.
-I don't have all the answers... likely I never will... and that's okay. "The substance of faith is a hope in the unseen"

Music, Movies, and Books
A few off the top of my head:
Movies: Parasite, Meru, Inside Lleywyn Davis, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Books: Lately I read a lot of non-fiction related to health and performance.
Music: I enjoy any music where the artist has a really good voice and vocal range - I also enjoy music when the lyrics aritculate something profound - I like the singing and lyrics more than the music/rhythm - and that comes from a lot of different musicians and genres.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
As a poor youth, I once bicycled from Lisbon to Istanbul, eating grocery store food and sleeping on the side of the road.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can give advice on long distance bike touring and share some fun stories about my previous travels and experiences. As for learning...I'm open minded to anything.
