ABOUT ME

Hi! I don't know where to start...

I'm a college student (studying piano) who enjoys hiking, travel, science, a small dose of philosophy, and of course music.

About me? I'm a bit of an introvert but am always interested in a good conversation. I'm often quiet, very analytical, always striving to be more organized, but with a peculiar mind for adventure.

What else? I'm not sure. You're welcome to ask, though. That's why I'm on the site!

PHILOSOPHY

I am trying to grow. For my entire childhood I was sheltered, shy, conservative, and almost afraid to try new things. Now that I'm on my own I'm trying to change that. It's been a wonderful experience thus far.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I learned about CouchSurfing through a bank teller. I decided to check it out, and now I've met some local surfers, met a few on a bus in Siena, and surfed for three nights in Salzburg.

I look forward to meeting more Surfers in the near future, whether from Fresno or abroad.

Interests

music! Largely classical music, but I'll give anything a go.

the mountains -
I got hooked on hiking a few summers ago, and now I've done a small array of hikes in Yosemite, Kings Canyon, and Mineral King in California. I've gotten a glimpse of the Alps and can't wait to go back and hike there. I've done a little bit of rock climbing, snowshoeing, and skiing.

physics - this tends to bore most people so I'll leave it at that.

religion -
This used to be a huge part of my life. It isn't so much now, but questions of religion still interest me. I've learned immensely by listening to other people. If you've got a decent point of view, I'd love to hear it.

not politics -
Well, I take it back. If you have some knowledge and/or are willing to question your own views, I'll find a discussion to be fascinating.

people -
They've changed my life in wonderful ways, and they'll continue to do so.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw either Greenland or Northern Canada from an airplane. Incredible! I've never seen snow on such a vast scale.
