About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Spread my wings and find new friends across the country.

ABOUT ME

I'm a very out going and friendly person, I have a deep respect for music and artists and they are always welcome in my home. I'm not as traveled as I would like to be and I'm hoping this website will help me open doors to be able to pursue my dreams of seeing the world. I'm a self taught musician and run a recording studio, with out music I would not be who I am today. I work full time and go to school so I keep busy but I try to travel as much as I can when I can.

PHILOSOPHY

Home is where the heart is.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Travelers on a road trip who need a bed to rest are welcome to my couch, I love to cook so if you catch me on a good night be prepared for a delicious meal and good beer!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet, I mean none related to this website at least.

Interests

Hard to keep this part short as I'm a very curious person. From science and history to music and art there are few things that don't interest me. I come from a family of artists but I wouldn't call my self one. I'm more of a musician at heart. I like to play drums, guitar, bass, and recently I have been trying to teach my self how to play accordion.. it's not easy. I enjoy sculpting and wood working as well, it's a great way to relax and express my self. I'm a huge motorcycle enthusiast and I love riding and exploring new places. I also restore classic cars. I'm currently working on two, a 1970 Volvo p1800 and the other is a 1967 Volvo 122s. Volvos have a special place in my heart as I come from a Swedish family. I love to cook as well and I would really love to learn how to prepare sushi! I'm kind of a mad scientist as well, my old recording studio is more of a lab space now. It's filled with lots of interesting things I experiment with mostly relating to electronics and optics.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I love all kinds of music.. John Lee Hooker, Roy Orbison, The Prodigy, The Misfits, QOTSA, Tool, Johnny Cash, Sinatra.. there isn't much I wont listen to.

Movies: I love Indy movies, old school kung-fu, Sci-fi, fantasy, comedy, horror.. I could list them out but it would take a while..

Books: Mostly any thing educational, Biographies of musicians, abstract poetry, some philosophical stuff, what ever's around.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hard to pick one.. Maybe hiking to the top of Mt. Monadnock during a blizzard then subsequently getting lost in blinding snow and managing to find a way back down to the trail head hours later. That was an adventure for sure.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm always a fan of spreading the passion of music. I have a full drum set, multiple guitars and keyboards and I'm always willing to learn from or teach some one about music. I also dabble in home brewing and would love to teach the art if it's the appropriate time to do so. I like learning how to cook new foods as well, I would love to meet some one who can show me how to prepare sushi properly!
