About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Traveling around the states in search of my new home
ABOUT ME
Comedy, adventure, and anything fun. I just finished my MS and conducting environmental research full-time.
I try to cram as much into a day as possible. That along with full-time work and school keeps me pretty busy. I really do burn the candle at both ends. If I say I will do something, I will do it. I don't make commitments I cannot keep, unless extenuating circumstances will not allow, which is rare.
'Jack of all trades, master of none.' This quote really seems to suit me since I'm always trying to learn new things.
PHILOSOPHY
Everything in moderation, even moderation.
Couch-surfing is a ideology that goes beyond this website. Both parties must put trust into the idea AND each other, and that is what makes couch-surfing not only great, but possible. This website simply brings us together, safely and easily.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am loving both surfing and hosting! This site has introduced me to people that I would have never met otherwise. I'm so happy to be able to put my life into a system that is so very rewarding.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm pretty flexible, but I don't like all music. I tend to listen to alternative, folk, rock, and some EDM if the mood is right; classical music when I want to relax or study.
Some books I currently like, to name a few:
Born to run,
Beast in the Garden,
Food of the Gods,
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Created a milestone friendship/exchange program between US and S. Korean student caving organizations.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share my space and my time with travelers if our schedules align. I'd be happy to show you around this beautiful city.
Also, I can take you caving and teach you safe caving practices. I have my Level 3 certification in cave rescue and Wilderness First Responder certification in medicine as well as my EMT certification. I can also take you indoor rock climbing in town or outdoor if there are places around where I am surfing. I have plenty of equipment, but time is the most difficult aspect.
I'm learning about music theory and taking voice lessons. Any help with that or a jam session would be awesome. When I discovered the ukulele, I realized I could actually make a decent sound, then I began singing along. I love it, and I was hooked.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love the conversations that arise from couch surfing/traveling. I can offer good stories and what music I know by heart.
I keep my footprint as small as possible and require very little accommodation. If you can give me a 6 ft by 3 ft area to put my sleeping mat and belongings and give me some water, I will be one happy CouchSurfer. Anything more than that is wonderful.
Countries I’ve Visited
Cambodia, Canada, Mexico, South Korea, Thailand, Viet Nam
