ABOUT ME

I was born in the United States but when i was in first grade my family moved to Stockholm Sweden. I spent Primary school living in there and then moved back to the states. I finished school and began University in America. I went on to study in Osaka Japan Marseille France. After I finished University I moved to Tienmu, Taipei, Taiwan (ROC) to be a English Teacher at a privet school.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been to a few events in Japan and have enjoyed all of them tremendously! Couchsurfing lets you meet people from all over the world and learn from them. Living in Japan it is very easy to think that you are the only foreigner but through couch surfing I was able to see that the world is full of people traveling, learning, and living in places far from the one where they were born. Everyone is different yet we are all part of the planet- we all have things to share, things other people can learn from us.

I am constantly AMAZED by the people on couchsurfing. Strangers, inviting you into their homes, giving you a place to stay and even showing you the most beautiful, foreign aspects of their countries. This is really an amazing group of people. (^__^)

Interests

I like to swim, go to the beach, go out to clubs, parties, raves, go to the gym :D lots of stuff. I really enjoy having fun with high energy people. I love trying new things. Recently I have tried surfing (at WuShi beach) several times and had a ton of fun. I also picked up hiking and have hiked Mt. Fuji and several smaller mountains in Japan and Taiwan.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like loads of books.Robert Jordan, Ken Follet, Terry Goodkind, Vladimir Nabokov, Alexandre Dumas amoung others. Movies:Disney movies are great. Also I recently have watched a Japanese movie called Heavenly Forest (ただ、君を愛してる) it was outstanding, I loved it.Music:Rock, House, Pop, Kpop... most anything reallyCounting Crows, Dave Matthews, Blink 182, Shinee, 2pm, Superjunior... idk

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my most amazing experiences was backpacking through Europe, in the winter. I was able to see so much, in a short period of time, and I was able to meet so many people.
